Just sharing..."The Easter Train" will be available for children to ride on the train and see the Easter Bunny Saturday, March 26th, at the South Carolina Railroad Museum in Winnsboro, SC (30 minutes from LCE!)

Parent Gallery Walk: Please join us from 9:00-9:45 Thursday, March 24th for a gallery walk and sharing of all animal projects. Our children will be ready to share their animal expertise with you! If you can't come, please send a grandparent or family member so that your child will feel supported. It's a pretty big deal...and they are so proud to share!

Friday, June 3rd- This is the date of our kindergarten end of the year program. We wanted to give you this date now so that you can prepare to be here! It's a short presentation by the students in the MPR at 8:30 a.m. and immediately following, you are invited to meet us back in our classrooms for the end of year video. 

There's no place like home!

If you don't have anything else to do please join me today @6pm at Ridge View High School to support Tate in The Wizard of Oz. I have heard great reviews and the students are super excited about the opportunity.

Animal projects are due on or before Friday, March 18th.  By now your child should know their 5 facts and have a poster board.  Next week they should be working on presenting their project.  We (Mrs. Fulkerson and I) do not help with project presentation.  The students are expected to present the project and not just read off of a board.  They should also have their 3D model of their animal close to completion.  The project is a major part of their 3rd nine weeks grade.  We will start presentations on Friday, March 18th and finish on Wednesday, March 23rd.
