End of Year Program: Our kindergarten will present "School is Cool"Friday, June 3rd at 8:30 a.m. Students will need to wear their new t-shirts and khaki colored bottoms. (skirts, shorts, pants, capris) If possible, could you please allow your child to wear bottoms with pockets? They will need a pocket to carry a prop we are using for the program! Please make sure your child is on time that day. Also, I am attaching a diagram of the MPR so that you can sit in an area that you will be able to see your child. For best seating, don't sit in the spots marked with a red X. Please get there early so you can get a good seat. It will be packed! Immediately following the presentation of songs in the MPR, please plan to join us for a video of the children and Kindergarten farewell! We should be finished with everything by 9:30 a.m. Please feel free to "sign your child out" after this! We will have the sign out sheets in our classrooms.

Note from Nurse: Medications can NOT be kept in the health room over the summer. Please plan to come by and pick up any medications that your child has had at school this year--prescription and non-prescription. Medications not claimed by 12 noon on Friday June 3rd will be discarded. For the safety of our children, NO MEDICATIONS can be sent home with students---a parent or authorized adult must pick them up.

Thank you, Sarah Mishoe, RN

Virtual Tour of RCPL Main Branch

To begin our unit on Community Helpers we visited Richland County Public Library.  We saw the main floor, went down the escalator, and into the children's floor.  I know you never signed a wavier, or filled out lunch choices but you didn't have to.  We never left the classroom.  Thanks to Periscope Mrs. Sarah took us on a tour of the Library, discussed topics, and answered questions all from the comfort of our carpet.  We were able to use the iPads and SMARTboard to have an interactive virtual field trip. Here is a video of part of our trip and pictures.
