Jan. 22- Booster-thon Fun Run and Report Jan. 27- "Tacky Day"
Week of Jan 25-29th- Antarctica Day ...shhhh....this is a surprise for students
Please note that we do not have school on Friday, Jan. 15th and Monday Jan. 18th.
Boosterthon Fun Run: Students will be issued a t-shirt for the run, however if it is cold outside, please have students wear warm clothing under their shirt as well as comfortable, warm pants to participate in the fun run.
Tacky Day: We are planning to read several fiction books about Tacky the Penguin. We will be dressing "Tacky" to honor this funny character in these books! He typically has on a flowered tropical shirt with a man's tie. Some suggestions to wear are mismatched shoes, socks, clothing etc...
Antarctica Day: We will surprise the students similar to our Native American Immersion Day On Thursday January 28, 2016 8:30-10:45 Please sign up if you would like to volunteer Antarctica Day
RAZ Kids: I have updated all students! IF you notice that your child's level has changed, CONGRATULATIONS! Your child has been practicing reading and it has paid off! Please have your child keep reading each night! It really will boost their confidence in all academic areas if they are reading fluently.
